Two women jailed for a year for prostitution

The Dubai Criminal Court has sentenced two Chinese women to one-year jail for prostitution and posting pictures of naked women and their own mobile numbers on a website.

KKT, 46, and SNJ, 36, will be deported after serving their jail terms.

Chief Prosecutor Khaled Salem Al Alawi asked the court to impose stiffest penalty against them.

Seargant Issa Ibrahm testified that while he carrying out an electronic patrolling he found that there were mobile numbers that were mentioned on different porno websites.

“Upon investigating the case, we reached to the location of the mobile number users in a building of three flats rented by the Chinese. Police obtained permission from the Prosecution and raided the flats and arrested the women. SNJ was arrested red-handed while sending a porno picture with telephone numbers to a website. Police confiscated five laptops and 20 mobile phones in addition to an advertisement in Chinese language promoting porn. The accused and her roommate KKT confessed that they used other women’s picture and offered themselves for sex,” Ibrahim testified.
