Worker cut to pieces by cylinder blast

An Indian welding worker was cut into many pieces that were scattered through his workshop after an oxygen cylinder exploded in his face during work in Saudi Arabia, a newspaper said on Tuesday.

The worker was cutting steel bars at the sprawling workshop in the central town of Kharj when the blast occurred, Alriyadh said.

“The workshop owner phoned the police which sealed the place and began investigation into the incident,” the paper said.
