Nissan on board with Emirates

Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation and President of Emirates, yesterday met the Chairman of Japan's Nissan Motor Company Carlos Ghosn.

During the meeting, which was attended by officials from both Nissan and Emirates, a number of issues were discussed, especially Emirates' plans to launch a new service between Dubai and Tokyo from March 28 with an average of five flights a week.

Ghosn's visit to the UAE came on the occasion of the launch of a model of Nissan cars in the UAE.
