Dh200m contract to upgrade Al Ain roads

Al Ain Municipality has signed three consultancy service contracts worth Dh200 million for the maintenance of roads and bridges. The project will be completed in two years.

The contracts were signed by Director Manager Awadh bin Hasoum Al Darmaki. The first contract is for the emergency maintenance of roads and bridges, the second for the maintenance of five groups of main roads, including 11 inside the city, and the third is for the maintenance of bridges.

Director-General of the Infrastructure Department Dr Mattar Mohammed Al Nuaimi said the project aims to improve roads and bridges and upgrade them to world standards to ensure safety.
