In its third tender in May, the Supervision Committee for the Expansion of the Abu Dhabi International Airport (Scadia) has invited expressions of interest from specialised firms to prequalify for the design services for the Technology Centre facility at the Abu Dhabi International Airport. The last date to respond is June 15.
The scope of work shall include, but not be limited to, the provision of design services utilising sustainable design principles for the various phases and elements of the project including planning, civil, architectural, engineering and security. The facility shall include accommodation for the ICS department, comprising ICS staff offices, training and conference
facilities, tele-presence room, main airport data centre, network operations centre, pre-production centre, shipping and receiving, security access control, provisions for IT services, security fences, etc. Companies must demonstrate over five years of experience in similar design projects (successfully completed and/or under execution). Those contractors satisfying the above criteria will be contacted to collect the pre-qualification documents.
Scadia added that it has the right to accept or decline any or all applications, extend the date of submission, amend the pre-qualification criteria or cancel the process at any stage without prior justification.
