STX secures $250m deal for four ships

STX Offshore & Shipbuilding, one of South Korea's leading shipbuilders, said that it has won contracts for four ships worth a total of $250 million (Dh918m) in April. According to reports, the company will be building a 80,500 dwt Kamsarmax bulk carrier for a ship owner in Singapore. STX said it closed two deals with a Greek and a Singaporean company.
