The Media One Tower, a mixed-use project in Media City, has started leasing its office component in the building prior to the opening of its Media One Hotel in October, according to a top executive of the company.
The Media One Tower is owned by the Al Jaber Group and the offices will be managed by the Media One Hotel. According to Media One, the office tenants will be entitled to corporate and individual special offers as part of their leasing agreements.
"We have had a lot of interest, particularly from international media companies, technology and consultancy firms, which is a pleasant surprise given the current economic conditions. What we have also noticed is that companies are looking for innovative ways in which their office location can add value and are seeking additional benefits, quality service, a variety of facilities as well as a location that suits their corporate image," said Barry Schuin, Leasing Operations Manager, Media One.
The Media One Tower is a mixed-use development with the first 23 floors of the building dedicated to the Media One Hotel and the upper 20 floors dedicated to an office component. The offices, which comprise 20 floors of leasable space totalling 230,260 square feet area will be managed by the Media One Hotel through a dedicated real estate team.
Office tenants will have full access to the hotel services once the hotel opens its doors. According to its developer, Al Jaber Group, three firms have already moved into the office component of the building.
