UAE-based developer and service provider Sweet Homes has announced plans to develop a Dh600 million hotel and serviced apartments complex in Ajman.

The project will be located within Ajman Uptown – a Dh3 billion community development under construction in Ajman.

The developer is negotiating with leading hotel operators for the management of the five-star hotel and luxury residential complex. The move follows the recent launch of seven commercial and residential towers, collectively valued at Dh1.3bn, within the high profile master development.

With a total built up area of 548,719 square feet, the fully-furnished serviced apartments complex is set to offer a total of 264 studios and 72 one-bedroom apartments. The entire structure will include four floors of residential units and a total of 654 parking spaces. Eight restaurants, which will offer cuisine of various origins to tenants as well as guests, will also be operating within the high profile residential complex.

Designed by the internationally-reputed architectural firm, Engineer Adnan Saffarini Office, Sweet Homes will shortly be launching the sales of these freehold apartments that will provide lavish comforts and state-of-the-art facilities to investors looking for an ideal community development in Ajman.

The five-star hotel within Ajman Uptown will incorporate a total of 184 rooms, including 40 luxury suites; four restaurants on the mezzanine floor; and a banquet hall, a coffee shop, a fashion boutique and a flower shop on the ground floor.

Guests can also enjoy health and fitness amenities within the hotel, including a swimming pool, an aerobic health club and a gym, in addition to a children's play area, and two salons and a restaurant, all of which are located on the rooftop. With a total built-up-area of 223,394.5 square feet, the hotel aims to offer quality services with the size of standard rooms ranging from 364 square feet to 430 square feet, and the luxury suites spanning 563 square feet to 729 square feet.

"As our flagship project, we have envisioned Ajman Uptown as a world-class community that will encompass all the elements of a thriving social community that can support the growth of individuals and organisations," said Fahad Sattar Dero, Chief Executive, Sweet Homes Group.

"With construction progressing rapidly on Ajman Uptown, we are confident that we will be able to hit the handover schedule we have promised our investors. In order to maintain the level of quality, which we have envisioned for this development, Sweet Homes has committed to source all materials to be used in the project from only the most trusted manufacturers from across the globe.

"Our continuous efforts to fuel Ajman's growth in the real estate front, which is in line with the government's aims to attract more investments and tourism into the emirate, will involve further undertakings that will result in the construction of vital infrastructure within Ajman Uptown to help serve this goal," he said.

Sweet Homes had recently launched five mixed-use luxury towers.
