Expedia and Jumeirah sign global agreement

Marking its first deal with an online travel company, luxury hospitality management firm, Jumeirah Group, said yesterday it has signed a long-term global agreement with the US-based Expedia.

As a part of the agreement, Jumeirah hotels will be available on all expedia.com and hotels.com branded points of sale globally. The accord also provides Jumeirah Group access to Expedia's global marketplace, as well as its online travel marketing and distribution expertise, and merchandising opportunities to reach travellers across Europe, Asia and North America.

Jumeirah hotels would be able to access Expedia's global online travel marketplace through Expedia Connect – Expedia's direct connection solution for chain hotels.
