DEC reviews report on Dubai strategic plan 2015

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council (DEC), yesterday chaired a meeting of the council. Also present was Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Deputy Council Chairman.

The council reviewed issues on the agenda, primarily the quarterly report on the communication management system of Dubai strategic plan 2015.

The council reviewed the results of the report on the system, which is one part of the integrated system for communication in the Dubai Government as it was designed with the participation of the government bodies concerned. The report said the system aims to support Dubai's strategic plan through full co-ordination among government departments, sector committees and the Executive Council and by linking communication activities to the main aims of the strategic plan in a systematic manner.

The report praised efforts made by the working team specialised in making the communication map of the strategy, designing the mathematical equations, communication cards and communication indicators. The council also reviewed the report on the execution of the government budget for the first quarter of the year, including the performance and analysis of the budget and comparing it with that of the same period of 2009.
