As many as 25 students and eight teachers from The Indian High School Dubai are stranded in London due to the fresh volcanic ash eruptions. The group had gone to the UK on an educational tour. The school is making all efforts to get the students and teachers back to the UAE.
Talking exclusively to Emirates Business, David Thomas, who is a teacher at the school and who is also responsible for organizing educational tours for The Indian High School, said: “Twenty five boys of grade seven, eight and 11 have been stuck in London for the last three days due to disruption of flights from Europe.
“The students, in the age group of 13 to 17, reached the UK on April 2 and were supposed to come back to Dubai on April 17, but they could not do so.”
