UAE, Luxembourg to boost co-operation

General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, welcomed yesterday Crown Prince of Luxembourg Prince Guillaume, who is on a visit to the country leading an economic delegation.

Sheikh Mohammed expressed hope that the current visit by the delegation will contribute to the development of co-operation between the two sides in the areas of economy, investment and will increase bilateral trade. It will enhance the opportunities of both countries to benefit from their capabilities in the fields of banking, financial services as well as other avenues of common interest. The mutual visits by officials of both countries will also enormously help to bring their views closer in many issues, Sheikh Mohammed added.

At the meeting, which was attended by the Undersecretary at Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Diwan Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazroui, Sheikh Mohammed and Prince Guillaume exchanged their views on the best ways for further enhancing the developing relations between the two countries and pushing them forward on all fronts.

Prince Guillaume toured a number of tourist and cultural spots such as Saadiyat Island, and was briefed on the projects under development including Louvre Museum. He also toured Yas Island and said that the Yas Marina Circuit is one of the finest F1 race tracks in the world.

Earlier, Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, met Prince Guillaume.
