Comic hero to fly by Dubai

It seems "somebody gonna get a hurt real bad". If you haven't caught on already then comedian Russell Peters, along with his trademark bag of gags, is hurtling towards Dubai on December 1 at the Madinat Arena. And if his official website is to be believed, then Peters will also be performing at the same venue on December 2 and 3.

We can still recall last year's frenzy, when his stand-up comedy act sold-out in 10 minutes, resulting in a series of performances added due to public demand. Keeping this in mind, you had better hurry to grab those tickets, which go on sale at noon.

Peters will kick-off his regional tour in Dubai, followed by shows in Jordan, Lebanon and Bahrain. In a statement, the Canadian said: "I'm looking forward to coming back to Dubai. The fans are fantastic."
