Sony Vaio w Serles Announced

After insisting we stop referring to their tiny but nice Vaio P as a netbook, Sony is now prepared to call its new W range 'the new real-wide netbook'. The W series, to be on UAE shop shelves later this year, will feature a 10.1-in LED backlit display, weigh 1.19kg and will be available in brown, white and pink.

The keyboard of the W-series has been designed for comfort and control, Sony Gulf says, to allow convenient typing with both hands and that the touch-pad and mouse keys are made for easy, functional use. After the mouse nub and no-trackpad Vaio P, we certainly hope so.
