Black Eyed Peas' tattooed fan

Black Eyed Peas star Taboo has a fan who had his name tattooed on her back.

The 35-year-old rapper - who stars in the band alongside will.i.am, Fergie and apl.de.ap - is always amazed by the dedication of the group's followers but was particularly concerned for the admirer who had a personal tribute to the 'I Gotta Feeling' star.

Asked if the band has any unusual fans: "Yeah, of course. We have fans who stay outside until 4am to get a glimpse of us. That's pretty great.

"They'll be waiting outside the hotel until you come out and sign autographs. I once met a fan who had my name tattooed on her back. I was like, 'You know that s**t doesn't come off, right?' "

Despite having crazy fans, Taboo admits he has more sedate interests, and he spends a lot of time collecting vinyl toys - with a total of 500 originals still in their boxes.

He said: "I'm really a child at heart, I collect toys, I have since I was young I've always collected them.

"I have about 500 toys. I have all sorts of action figures, Michael Jackson action figures, Transformers figures, 'Lord of the Rings' things. I also have Batman too."
