Vinod Chopra aka Vidhu is hopping mad. He is upset about stories that the shooting of his film has been postponed for an alleged rework in the script because the script is similar to that of an Ekta Kapoor Marathi film called Taryanchi Bait. Ferrori Ki Sawari is apparently about a father who wants to realise his son’s dream of riding a Ferrari. Sharman bagged the role over Aamir Khan.
Sources close to Chopra insist that the film has nothing to do with another film and that the break in the shoot is only because of the monsoon when outdoor shoots are not possible. Chopra is also of the opinion that someone is trying to sabotage his movie and hence is working overtime to run it down.
Ever since Vinod announced his film Ferrari Ki Sawaari, there haven’t been too many people who have been wanting to take a ride of the Ferrari. There was initial talk of Sachin Tendulkar being a part of the movie as he is known for his Ferrari sawari as well.
Salman-Prabhu back?
With the release of ‘Wanted’, Salman Khan was seen dancing to the tunes of director Prabhu Deva and the movie went on to be a huge hit at the box office. ‘Wanted’ was a remake of a South Indian movie and acted as a great launching pad for Prabhu Deva’s directorial debut.
And once again it seems that Salman Khan is set to work in Prabhu Deva’s next venture. Recently Prabhu had come to Mumbai and paid a special visit to Salman Khan. “Prabhu Deva came to Mumbai to meet Salman. He stayed for a week in Mumbai and had a long meeting with Sallu. There is a possibility that he might start his next project soon with the star,” says a source.
With fallout between the director of ‘Dabangg’, Abhinav Kashyap and the Khans, the question of directing the sequel had arose. And talks were that Prabhu Deva might be roped in to make the sequel. But now with the official word out, it seems that Arbaaz Khan is very keen to make his directorial debut. “Prabhu is desperate to work with Salman; he was also interested in directing ‘Dabangg 2’ but now he seems to be ready with something new and different for Salman,” adds the source. Whatever be the case be, we hope that the meeting will result in something more for all Salman fans to cherish.
Kunal's Informer
Kunal Deshmukh made an entry in Bollywood through the Bhatt camp. With a directorial debut like ‘Jannat’, Kunal was at the peak. But soon he faced a hard fall with ‘Tum Mile’. All his glory faded away as ‘Tum Mile’ failed to even get noticed at the box office despite starring the Bhatts’ favourite, Emraan Hashmi.
But now this director is back again with his third film yet again with Mahesh Bhatt titled ‘Informer’. In the film, Emraan Hashmi will be seen romancing Prachi Desai one more time after ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai’. “Time has been testing me since long. And now with ‘Informer’ I want to deliver my best. I hope that the success of ‘Informer’ takes me beyond the fame of ‘Jannat’. I want to prove that I can do it and be proud of my good work,” says Kunal.
And a similar faith is shown by the producer too. Speaking about Kunal, Mahesh Bhatt says, “Kunal had made a century with ‘Jannat’ but made a duck with ‘Tum Mile’. But I believe in his work and I hope he will make a comeback with this movie.” We too hope Kunal reaches beyond ‘Jannat’ with his ‘Informer.’
