Bollywood's eternally single divas: Rekha, Rani, Sushmita..

These Bollywood bombshells have entertained us over the years being a sexy siren, romancing the heroes on-screen and wooing the most macho man around.

One would expect them to have an envious love life being swiped away by their prince charming.

But on the contrary these leading ladies are married to their career, as for the men, they have to wait.

These single ladies are a force to reckon with, they have their share of fun and they revel in their singledom and together they make a powerful single ladies club in Bollywood.

We take a look at Bollywood beauties who are in a relationship with their career and enjoying their single hood.

One- heartbreak followed another; hers has been one long journey and unending quest of love. She was rumoured to be having an affair with Jeetendra, Vinod Mehra, Kiran Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Raj Babbar finally getting married to industrialist Mukesh Aggarwal. However, soon after the marriage Mukesh committed suicide for reasons still not known.

At 58, Rekha is single but she exhibits such grace and glamour that will put a 20 year old to shame.

At 41 Tabu looks younger than her age and she is single by choice.

If one remembers Tabu was first linked with co-actor Sanjay Kapoor. Soon she fell in love with producer Sajid Nadidadwala in the ‘90s after his first wife Divya Bharti died. But Tabu never committed to Sajid and found herself getting attracted to married South actor Nagarjuna.

Rani Mukerjee, the 34 year old critically acclaimed actress says, "I don't party, I don't get drunk and I don't have affairs. So all my passion goes into my work."

Rani has been linked with Vivek Oberoi to Govinda. One rumour that everybody seemed interested was her closeness with Abhishek Bachchan. But all that is past and Rani might not be a jewel in the single's club, as it is reported that she might soon tie the knot with filmmaker Aditya Chopra.

Former Miss Universe and mother of two, 37 year old Sushmita Sen is single and ready to mingle - literally. The string of affairs Sushmita had and the number of names attached to her is something a statistician would love to follow.

Previously the actress have been linked with filmmaker Vikram Bhatt, hotelier Sanjay Narang, head of hotmail.com Sabeer Bhatia, ad film director Manav, Mudassar Aziz and actor Randeep Hooda.  Sushmita recently said she has decided to take the plunge into marital bliss. But who is the lucky groom?

Urmila Matondkar says she doesn't need a man to feel complete. "No way the closest I’ve come to marriage is by speaking about it in interviews. Why can’t I just be a sexy eligible single woman? Forget marriage, I’ve never felt the need to be in a relationship just for the sake of having a man in my life."

Everyone thought Preity Zinta found her prince charming in Ness Wadia. But all that under the table hand holding teenager kind of puppy love did not last long.

After dating co-actor John Abraham for years and living-in together one stopped asking them when are they getting married, which seemed inevitable. But then came a jolt when Bipsha and John split. But the 33 year old actress was not sitting home and crying her heart out. Post break-up with John she has been constantly linked up with co-actors. In an interview Bipasha said she is single and happy.

 For 37 years old Ameesha Patel, marriage is the last thing on her mind right now as she claims to be enjoying her single status. “I am happy right now... happily single... and I am not thinking about marriage.”  But few years back she almost entered the married club when she was dating married filmmaker Vikram Bhatt.

Remember the rumours about actress Mallika Sherawat having an alleged affair with Hollywood big shot Antonio Banderas. The actress remained mum over the matter and soaked in the attention showered.

36 year old Mallika said in an interview, "I don't think I will ever get married. I say so because I feel it is outdated, marriage is outdated. I am loving being single. Why would I sacrifice the love and devotion of so many fans?"
