Ranbir Kapoor's 'Rockstar' has generated lot of curiosity, with its music and official trailers striking the right notes with audience.
However, the Censor Board of India is not quite pleased. Director Imtiaz Ali has been forced to cut a scene showing fans waving "Free Tibet" flag during a song sequence.
The red and blue flag featuring a rising sun is a symbol of Tibetan resistance to Chinese rule.
This has also irked the exiled Tibetan community in India sparking protests.
AFP reports that Ali's decision to add the song was more to express personal freedom and not raise a geographical or political issue.
Meanwhile, the film's music already topping the charts is composed by the Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman.

She claims to have thoroughly enjoyed recording songs and even penning her own lyrics.
She’s all set to return home and launch a worldwide tour to promote her debut album.
She wrote on her twitter page: "Back home soon.. Last few days here in LA..looking forward to seeing what's up back home. Last minute whirlwind to finish off work..Lovin it".

International pop diva Shakira is slated to perform at the birthday bash of Indian industrialist KP Singh in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
Hrithik Roshan who was scheduled to dance alongside Shakira has opted out citing back problem.
Indian Newspaper DNA reports the organisers are planning to rope in actor Shahid Kapoor to step into Hrithik’s shoes. Good bet, indeed! But alas, no confirmation from the actor’s side yet.
Hope the diva finds a partner! We wish the organisers good luck, too!
