All's well that ends well. Filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala and farah Khan's brother Sajid Khan orchestrated a patch up between Shah Rukh Khan, Shirish Kunder and Farah Khan.
One night Shah Rukh gets mighty irked so he punches and slaps troublemaker Shirish Kunder. But next morning they wake up to realise what a national joke they have made of themselves so they decided to hug, kiss and make up.
SRK had allegedly thrashed Shirish at actor Sanjay Dutt's party, which the latter organised to celebrate the success of his recent release ‘Agneepath’.
A day after the scuffle editor-turned-director Shirish Kunder visited SRK's residence Mannat, on Tuesday along with wife Farah Khan and others to kiss and patch up.
Farah Khan's brother Sajid Khan and common friend of the two parties Sajid Nadiadwala played peacemakers. After Nadiadwala gave the idea, Sajid messaged SRK's wife Gauri Khan asking her permission to visit their home.
Gauri replied back saying, "This is Farah's home. She doesn't need my permission".
That created a thaw even before they visited the Khan residence.
Apparently when the four arrived at Shah Rukh’s house at around 4 pm it took just fifteen minutes to resolve the problem between them.
There were unlimited exchange of hugs, kisses and tears. After spending the first 15 minutes resolving the issue, it was “just catching up” time for the group.
Later in the evening Sajid was seen at Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia’s sangeet (song and dance ceremony in Indian weddings) where he spoke to the press.
Sajid said, “SRK and I cried; we are very emotional and we have decided that we will not go back and find who said what. Everything in the past is null and void.”
“We have become a national joke.”
Sajid also mentioned Salman saying, “Salman will be extremely for me. I am happy so he will be happy. It will have no impact on my friendship with Salman.”
He went on to say, “Farah got back her elder brother in Shah Rukh and SRK got his younger sister back. There is no ego in this. They have been a family for the past 20 years.”
Shirish wrote in the micro blogging website Twitter, “Shahrukh and I just met, had a heart to heart chat and have resolved all misunderstandings. All animosity is now sorted for good.”
He continued, “Some incidents in our life when resolved makes relationships stronger than they were ever before.”
In the wee hours SRK also wrote, "long satisfying day...dancing at filmfare...shoot with prabhuda..dinner with ritesh & genelia at 5am. Best was to meet friends at home again."
In Bollywood there are neither permanent friends nor any permanent enemies. Hope this truce lasts and so as of now we can say ‘all is well’.
