Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the most successful of them all?

With so many celeb polls clogging media memory, it is tough to decide whether any of these random surveys are actually worth their salt.

From “the most desirable”, to “the most loved”, to “the most searched”, to “the most sexiest”, to “the most desirable”, the titles are as obscure as the poll itself.

While such titles might prove a great ego boast for the celebs, it hardly deserves much merit otherwise.

Just last week, Ormax media had crowned Katrina Kaif as the topper in their ‘Top 10 Female Stars India Loves’ poll, and now, Times has ranked Kareena Kapoor as the winner in the Bollywood fame game.

A month earlier, another Indian daily kicked off the ‘ultimate seductress’ poll and crowned Katrina the winner.

Now that the polls have pitched Katrina against Kareena, we thought it’d be interesting to see which of these B-town beauties are actually worthy of being at the top.

In terms of box-office success this year, Katrina is riding high with the super-hit ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, while Kareena’s ‘Heroine’ fizzled out.

That’d be one for Katrina, zero for Kareena.

But, what she didn’t win at the box-office, Kareena won back with the popularity stakes. Her October wedding was the most celebrated in Bollywood history, with media channels investing heavily on its coverage.

In matters of the heart, Kareena clearly has won, with Katrina still struggling to finalise her lover.

So, Kareena matches the score at one all.

But with marriage comes a dent in movie marketability, and with filmmakers reluctant to sign on married actresses, Katrina is bound to benefit from her rival’s wedding. Case in point being Kareena’s ouster from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Ram Leela’.

In terms of their movie career, for every feat that Kareena has achieved this year, Katrina has matched, or even bettered it. And, this despite Katrina being into the spotlight for far lesser than Kareena.

While Kareena gloated about being the only heroine to have worked with the top 3 Khans in Bollywood, where she teamed with Aamir  in ‘3Idiots’, Shah Rukh in ‘Ra.One’ and Salman in ‘Bodyguard’, Katrina upped her game by winning projects with the powered trio.

She topped it by teaming up with Salman in ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, Shah Rukh in the soon-to-released ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ and Aamir in ‘Dhoom3’.

And, for 2013, Katrina has ‘Dhoom3’ and ‘Dostana2’, which appear to be a sure-shot at box-office success, while Kareena has ‘Satyagraha’ and ‘Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai2’, making the battle even more thrilling next year.
