Rana’s married fault… and it’s not Bipasha

Bipasha Basu’s boyfriend Rana Daggubati likes to do things his way. But that means that he gets into trouble as well. And he did so with his latest film in Telugu called ‘Naa Ishtam’ meaning ‘My Wish’.

The film had him and Genelia D Souza in lead roles and when the film released last week, Rana took off all posters which had Genelia in it off the walls and promoted himself alone.

Result: the film flopped.  Rana thought that a married girl won’t be able to sell the film and made the mistake.

Guess Bipasha didn’t tell him that Genelia’s film in Hindi after marriage ‘Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya’ was a hit.

Rana and his producers lost out on a lot of family audiences that would have come their way had Genelia been promoted too.
