This month will go down in history as the season for the big fat Bollywood parties that have gripped Mumbai.

After last week’s mega birthday bash for superstar Amitabh Bachchan, this week has celebrity friends of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor feeling the sweat as they choreograph special dance performances for the duo’s sangeet (song and dance) celebration tonight.

Insiders are saying Kareena’s sister Karisma Kapoor has a special act that she will be performing tonight as a solo act on a medley of her celebrity sister’s foot-tapping numbers as a mini tribute.

Meanwhile, Soha Ali Khan’s, Saif’s baby sister also has something up her sleeve, possibly with beau Kunal Khemu as her sidekick.

But it’s the duo’s celebrity friends that are set to rock tonight’s bash, with Karan Johar, Malaika Arora Khan, Amrita Arora Ladak, Manish Malhotra and Tusshar Kapoor all being roped in to shake a hip to famous songs of Saifeena, along with Saif’s celebrity mother, Sharmila Tagore Pataudi.

It is being said that Johar will groove to Sharmila’s famous track from “Daag”, ‘Ab Chahe Maa Roothe’, while Tusshar will pull off a Shah Rukh Khan impersonation to sway on Kareena’s “Ra.One” dance track, ‘Chammak Chalo’, crooned by Akon.

Tracks we can certainly expect on the dance floor tonight at the wedding function is Kareena’s ‘Bole Chooriyan’ (K3G), ‘Halkat Jawani’
(Heroine), while Saif’s ‘Ole Ole’ (Yeh Dillagi) is sure to resurrected.

Item girl Malaika Arora Khan is said to be helping with the choreography, but we aren’t sure how Malhotra is coping between the bridal party’s dress fittings and the dance acts.

Similarly, Johar is equally torn between the wedding and the release of his “Student of the Year” on October 18 in UAE cinemas.

Johar’s dance skills have also come under question, with filmmaker Wilson Louis tweeting out earlier today: “Everything was so good for Saturday night till I saw Karan Johar dancing. One more time if I see him dancing, I don’t want to live on this planet.”

Oh dear; let’s just hope it’s a case of sour grapes.
