Pregnancy rumours surround Aishwarya Rai

All it takes is one dress.

Following an appearance at a Roberto Cavalli 40th anniversary event in Paris last week, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has come under intense scrutiny as the internet speculates over whether the former Miss World is pregnant.

The Bollywood actress, currently basking in the runaway success of the Tamil-language film “Endhiran”, glowed in a shimmering silver fish-inspired Cavalli sheath that hugged every curve, but it was her bulging tummy that set tongues going.

In the photo, above, she’s clearly either fat or pregnant.

One wag in the office quips she put on weight because cinema fans in South Indian like their actresses to look a little full-figured.

Either way, Cavalli thinks she’s a stunner. “Aishwarya Rai is here, she is beautiful!” he posted on his Twitter page.

Rai, 36, married actor Abhishek Bachchan in 2007.

This isn’t the first time pregnancy rumours have surfaced. This June, for instance, bloggers similarly went nuts ahead of the release of her last film, the disastrous “Raavan”, when the actress took to wearing loose clothes instead of her usual form-flattering outfits.
