As residents of the UAE get ready for the Dubai Comedy Festival scheduled from October 15 to 24, one family has already booked its place.
'The Siddhus of Upper Juhu', an English play by well-known Indian theatre group, Rage, is all set to mark its debut in the festival on October 15 and 16.
Directed by Rahul da Cunha with a talented cast including Bollywood actors Rajit Kapur and Shernaz Patel, the festival marks the first international outing of the play which has been doing full house shows and is widely appreciated in India for its sharp and witty dialogues and a down-to-earth, realistic storyline.
A window to the life of an ordinary family of Mumbai, 'The Siddhus of Upper Juhu' finds laughter and comic relief in the most depressing of situations.
