Dubai is again embracing the festive season with the return of the newly renamed Dubai Winter Festival.

Formerly known as the Dubai Christmas Festival, the biggest winter event in the UAE has moved  to The World Trade Centre from December 17-19.

Now in its fourth year, the Dubai Winter Festival remains the UAE's number one festive celebration, with everything you love about Christmas in one place, including plenty of seasonal features for the whole family to enjoy.

This year, the Dubai Winter Festival is asking kids to decorate a bauble and bring it to the festival to hang on one of the Christmas Wish trees and make a wish.

And every day from 6pm, families can gather around a giant Christmas tree and countdown the seconds to a spectacular lighting ceremony.

Kids can perfect that snow angel or have fun throwing snowballs at the Haribo Snow Fight Zone.

Not forgetting the visit to see Santa at the 'Chupa Chups ‪#‎Santa‬'s Grotto'.

‬‬‬The American Garden main stage hosts non-stop entertainment including the Boxtones which includes three fun filled days of Christmas entertainment and classic Christmas songs.

The funfair has rides for all the family and is the ideal place to let loose and have some festive frolics for young and old.

The Funky Monkeys Kids Zone has loads of activities from face painting and bouncy castles to arts and crafts to entertainment shows.

If that is not enough, you can also skate under the stars at the Decathlon Skating rink. For those feeling creative, kids can decorate their own edible gingerbread house at the family workshop led by French Bakery.

There  is definitely something for all the family to enjoy in the feast of festive fun.‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

"We might have changed the name but we have kept all of the key ingredients that have made this festival so successful over the years," said Chris Fountain, Manging Director of Turret Media, the organisers of Dubai Winter Festival.

"The new location at The World Trade Centre  will mean we will be able to accommodate even more families than before to enjoy the festive and family spirit. We will continue to be the largest and most enjoyable weekend of festive fun."

Peter Pan's Christmas adventure will also be the theme of this year's pantomime and  UK West end stars 'Leading Lights Productions' will be performing Peter Pan’s Christmas Adventure.

Kids will be encouraged to dress as their favourite character from the popular children's tale.

"There is so much for the family to enjoy and this year promises to take children on an unforgettable festive adventure," added Mr. Fountain.
