Sonam breaks her date with Dubai

Bollywood “it girl” Sonam Kapoor will not be in Dubai next week as reported.

The actress, who was to make an appearance at a rain dance event in the UAE with her father Anil Kapoor, says she’s not going to show up after all.

“That won’t be happening. We’ve just not been able to manage the time,” she told Emirates247.com over the phone from Mumbai.

The event was to have been part of a series of publicity appearances ahead of the release next week of “Aisha”, a contemporary interpretation of Jane Austen’s classic, “Emma”.
