Fast & Furious 7, Abu Dhabi to Dubai: Vin Diesel with Paul Walker's brothers

Emirates24|7 earlier reported that Paul Walker's brothers Caleb and Cody have been filming in the UAE for the seventh series of the famous franchise 'Fast & Furious'.

Now, Paul's co-star Vin Diesel has posted a picture of himself with Paul's brothers, catching up in-between shots.

Vin posted the picture after it was revealed that Cody, 25, and older brother Caleb, 36, are indeed part of the franchise and present in the UAE with the crew.

Along with the picture, Vin left an emotional blog.

Writing on his Facebook page, Vin said: When I heard the news, (of Paul's accident) I left the production, grabbed a plane and took my family and Michelle back to LA... drove directly to his parent's house...
 
His Father said, Paul loved you Vin... I awkwardly and nervously said, aw come on... then he said... you don't have to get along every second to love each other... so true.
 
P.s. After spending time with his biological brothers, I must say to the parents, you raised some great kids.

Paul, 40, was on a break from shooting the film when he died in a tragic car crash in November and filming was put on hold until recently.

Actor Ludacris has also posted a video featuring himself, Tyrese Gibson, Caleb and Cody in Dubai.

Tyrese Gibson wrote on Facebook: "We have resumed shooting and now welcome Paul’s brothers, Caleb and Cody, into our 'Fast' family. Having them on set has made us all feel that Paul is with us too."

ABU DHABI & DUBAI SCHEDULE:

The crew first shot some high octane sequences in Abu Dhabi and then arrived in Dubai for the next schedule.

Some of the members were put up in Emirates Palace.

Abu Dhabi Film Commission (ADFC) along with TwoFour54 extended their complete support during the shoot.

Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris and some of the cast members had a field day in the Ferrari World, Abu Dhabi.

The crew were also said to be partying at Etoiles nightclub at Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi

In the first series of shooting, residents had witnessed helicopter whooshing around the buildings at Etihad Towers while filming some thrilling scenes.

After completing their Abu Dhabi fixture, the crew was flown in to Dubai on chartered choppers.

While videotaping their experience the cast seemed overwhelmed with the grandeur and hospitality they received.

They all had one thing to say about their UAE experience - "It's a whole new level, man!" (Sure it is)

Tyrese Gibson also performed in XL Beach Club at the Habtoor Grand Beach Resort, and it was houseful as expected. The crowd went delirious when Vin Diesel took to the stage and started jamming.

Tyrese tweeted: “Open to the public! This Sat at club XL Dubai, energy is gonna be insane.”

The production crew has been tight-lipped about locations and schedule of the shoot. But we expect to witness the stars share the limelight with some of our famous landmarks.

Why Caleb and Cody:

'Fast & Furious 7' resumed towards the end of last month, it was revealed that body doubles coupled with the use of visual effects would help director James Wan and the production team of the actions sequel to finish the film in the wake of Paul's demise.

Later on, Universal revealed they have commissioned Walker's brothers Caleb & Cody Walker to help out a bit. In a statement the studio said, "Caleb and Cody are helping us complete some remaining action for their brother and fill in small gaps left in production."

Since they are brothers, we will see similarities in their faces, so it might make the visual effects work a little less arduous.

It's not clear just how the film will deal with the death of Walker narratively, but we'll find out when Fast & Furious 7 hits theaters in just under a year on April 10th, 2015.
