Beckhams confirm: it's a girl

Victoria Beckham is having a baby girl.
 
The pop singer turned fashion designer announced her pregnancy in January and it has been confirmed she and husband David will have their first girl.
 
A representative for the couple spoke only to confirm the news, saying: "Yes, it is true."
 
The baby daughter will join the couple’s three sons, Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, eight, and six-year-old Cruz.
 
Speaking of his wife’s pregnancy this week, David, 35, said: "She's great, she's very healthy. She's feeling good. She's in London at the moment working.
 
"We're very excited. It's an exciting time for the family."
 
Victoria – who is expected to give birth this summer – has previously said about the sex of her baby: "We know what to do with a boy. The kids are excited about having a little brother to teach how to play soccer. But, if it's a girl, we'd be over the moon as well."
 
Victoria’s friend, actress Eva Longoria, is said to planning a baby shower for the family at the Chateau Marmont Hotel in Los Angeles.
