Now every celebrity mother wants to pose naked showing off their baby bump. The latest in the foray is Jessica Simpson.

The 31-year-old singer is seen cradling her baby bump on the cover of America's Elle magazine.

She has of course covered her body strategically, protecting her modesty with one arm over her breasts in the shot.

Jessica's appearance on the cover came as she admitted to the magazine that she and fiancé Eric Johnson are expecting a little girl.

Jessica admitted she hoped their daughter would take more after her than her sportsman beau.

Daily Mail reported that Jessica also teased about the name she and Eric have chosen for their little girl, describing it as 'non-traditional'.

Jessica earlier spoke about her pregnancy cravings and admitted to indulging in calorie-laden treats.
