Jiah Khan Case: Suraj Pancholi gets bail, father Aditya in trouble

Suraj Pancholi, charged with abetting the suicide of Bollywood actress Nafisa alias Jiah Khah, has been granted bail for surety of Rs 50000 (INR).

Pancholi, 22, son of actor couple Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, was produced before the Mumbai High Court today morning.

His application challenges a Sessions Court order that dismissed his bail plea.

Pancholi was arrested last month for abetment to suicide after Jiah's family handed an alleged suicide note to the police.

A Mumbai court had on Thursday extended his judicial custody till July 11.

On June 3, Jiah, 25, was found hanging in her flat in Juhu area here.

Father Aditya Pancholi in legal trouble

It seems like the troubles are not ending for Pancholi family. A Mumbai court recently extended the judicial custody of Suraj Pancholi in Jiah Khan suicide case.

Now, his actor-father, Aditya Pancholi has been booked for attacking his 55-year-old neighbour.

As per reports, the brawl between Aditya and his neighbour started over a parking issue. This is the second time in the last six months that the actor has fought with his neighbour.

As per a website, complainant Bhargav Patel produced a CCTV footage following which Mumbai police slapped various charges on Aditya Pancholi.
