Katrina 'finally' included in Kapoor family; what about Neetu Kapoor?

This Christmas, Santa brought good tidings for Katrina Kaif.

Ranbir Kapoor walking hand-in-hand with Ms Kaif and posing for the paparazzi is as official as it can get for the Bollywood hot couple.

The usual camera shy couple surprised the photo-journalists when they stood gleefully for them.

And it seems Katrina has finally made her way to the hearts of the Kapoor family during Shashi Kapoor's Christmas feast.

Several inside pictures of the party show the pretty actress happily posing for a family photo with the Kapoors.

Not only was the atmosphere merry with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Katrina posing for snaps together and Rishi Kapoor showing up in Santa Claus' attire, the celebrations only got merrier when the members of the Kapoor khandaan took a family photo, with Katrina a more than happy part of it too.

Sitting with Karisma's daughter Samaira on her lap, it looks like happy tidings for Ranbir and Katrina, whose relationship seems to have been accepted by the clan.

While the couple appeared much in love and happy with the entire family, what caught some people's attention is Ranbir's mother Neetu Kapoor's absence from the festivities.

The entire Kapoor clan was at the do, but Neetu and sister Riddhima were conspicuous by their absence.

Several conspiracy theories are already afloat, one of which suggest the reason behind Neetu's absence could-be daughter-in-law-in-waiting Katrina.

She, daughter Riddhima and granddaughter Samara had their separate celebration visiting Santa Claus at a hotel in Mumbai.

Neetu has never quite been on amazing terms with her son's girlfriend, as has been suggested by reports time and again.

It may be recalled that in November last year, Neetu had posted a photo on her Instagram account, with Katrina cropped out of it. The same photo had been posted by Ranbir's cousin, albeit with Katrina in the frame.

Katrina had recently opened up in an interview about her relationship insecurities. She had also said how she wanted to get to know Ranbir's family more.

It seems like boyfriend Ranbir made her wish his command when he took her to a 'Kapoor Christmas Bash' for the very first time.

Katrina was seen enjoying herself, mingling with the Kapoors and posing with them as one big happily family.

The grapevine has never quite had a moment's rest ever since these two provided it the fuel to sustain for years. We are certainly waiting for the next interview or sound byte.
