Salman Khan's ex-flame Katrina turns wedding dancer- for Dh1.32m

There's nothing new about Bollywood stars performing at high-profile weddings.

Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra are the usual suspects who make it to the headline for using their entertaining ability for some quick cash.

What can be a better way to entertain your VVIP guests at a wedding than hiring your favourite star?

But these stars come with a hefty price tag whether they dance or just attend the wedding to mingle with the crowd.

The more popular Khans have been hogging all the limelight but now it's the 'Chikni Chameli' who is topping the chart of most wanted for a wedding performance.

Bollywood leading ladies are known to usually charge only between Rs. 30-45 lakh for a performance.

The asking price for each star is based on figures available in the public domain.

Katrina recently performed her item number ‘Chikni Chameli’ and was paid Rs. 1.5 crore for it. Even Priyanka Chopra took to the stage in the same wedding but it is reported that Kaif went home with a bigger amount.

The 'Dhoom 3' actress is taking a break now in between her schedules but looks like she is never out of work. Katrina is free until mid-December, after which she will be shooting a song for the movie.

But according to reports, Katrina is already booked for the next wedding and she is charging a whopping amount of Rs2 cr (Dh 1.32m) for her act.

Katrina has breached the Khan asking amount with this deal.

Bollywood's leading man Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan reportedly charges Rs 1.5 – 2 crore to perform at a wedding.

The leading ladies of the industry usually charges between Rs 45-50 lakh for a performance.

Clearly Katrina is surging ahead of all the other heroines and also matching the steps (literally) with the Khans.

It is likely that this actress might topple her heroes at least as a wedding dancer.
