A Mumbai court has fixed the hearing of 2002 hit-and-run case against Bollywood actor Salman Khan on March 25, when he would have to remain present before the court.

Along with the prosecution's case against Salman, the court would also hear his appeal against the Magistrate's  order, invoking the charge of 'culpable homicide not amounting to murder' against him which attracts a punishment up to ten years in prison.

This time Salman had been asked to be present on that day. Salman was to appear before the court on March 11, but he did not go to the court that day as the case was yet to be assigned to any judge.

'Race 2' in troubled territory:

Expressing displeasure over certain contents of the movie 'Race 2', the Delhi High Court pulled up the filmmakers for teaching "indiscipline" to children.

The judge reprimanded the filmmakers while hearing litigation against alleged exhibition of nudity and vulgarity in the movie starring Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham.

The litigation was filed by Teena Sharma, a social worker, who has sought an immediate ban on further screening of the film in movie halls and its telecast on television channels as well besides deletion of nude scenes and vulgar dialogues before grant of permission to screen it again.

'Race 2' has been produced by Ramesh Taurani and UTV's Ronnie Screwvala, Siddharth Roy Kapur and worked under Illuminati Films Production Company owned by Saif Ali Khan.
