“Korbo lorbo jitbo”, KKR's anthem, blared out aloud across Eden Gardens and Kolkata for most part of the day, as the city turned purple and gold to celebrate Kolkata Knight Riders' IPL win.

Enthralling 70,000-odd ecstatic fans at Eden Gardens as well as the Chief Minister, Ms Mamata Banerjee, Shah Rukh Khan seemed to be super-excited with KKR’s victory.

Braving the heat, the franchise co-owner burst out into impromptu jigs. His energy matched the Chief Minister’s enthusiasm, which saw the crowd jumping to their feet.
