Charlie Sheen bombed in the debut of his much-touted "Torpedo of Truth" tour on Saturday night in Detroit, with fans booing the actor's disorganized rants and walking out of the show early.

Fans in Detroit's historic Fox Theatre were initially energized when Sheen emerged after a lackluster performance by the pre-show comic. He also got a rousing response when he ushered in his two "Goddess" girlfriends, who kissed each other onstage. But it seemed to be all downhill from there.

Sheen resorted to using multimedia in the show - including clips from his career - as well music elements. Prior to the show, Sheen had tweeted that the event would be interactive and he promised to answer any questions audience members might have. But by the time the actor got around to this part of the show, he was getting more boos and jeers than actual questions.

At one point, Sheen observed casually that "Tonight is an experiment." He later also told the crowd: "You paid your hard-earned money without knowing what this show was about."

In one of the more bizarre moments of his performance, Sheen asks audience members to raise their hands if they've ever done crack. When only a few hands went up, he said he was "surprised because Detroit seems like a good place to get crack."

The live premiere flop puts in doubt the rest of Sheen's planned 20 city tour, which continues in Chicago on Sunday night in a sold-out show.

Sheen announced the tour in the midst of a media firestorm focused on his public spat with executives from his hit CBS show "Two and a Half Men" and a series of colorful, rambling interviews in which he claimed - among other things - to be a "Vatican assassin warlock" with "tiger blood" and "Adonis DNA."
