Abu Dhabi mulls cameras in school buses

Abu Dhabi Education Council (Adec) is studying possibility of installing surveillance cameras in the school buses in cooperation with Emirates Transport to monitor and ensure safety of the students while in the buses.

The study includes sending of SMS to guardians informing them about time a student has boarded the bus. This service will include students in early school stages.

Adec stressed that the student transport will further witness development to ensure safety through employment of the high technology.
