TV's warmest glow: Amitabh Bachchan, Manju Warrier

Amitabh Bachchan features in a television advertisement for a jewellery brand with popular Malayalam actress Manju Warrier.

The new advertisement for Kalyan Jewellers is on air since July 15.

The advertisement was filmed towards the end of June and is a part of the brand campaign 'Vishwasam Athalle Ellam' of Kalyan Jewelers.

Amitabh, who is already one among the brand ambassadors of Kalyan Jewellers, previously shot an ad-film with Malayalam actor Dileep, who is Manju's husband.

After 14 years of wedlock, Manju makes a comeback with this commercial. She is known for her work in Malayalam films such as "Aram Thampuran"and "Kanmadam".

Amitabh Bachchan wipes rain-water off the mirror of a car as he shoots a television coomercial for a leading jewellery house in Mumbai. Bachchan, 71, is still one of the most sought after filmstars for endorsing brands from shampoo to shoe lace. Known universally as "The Big B", Amitach Bachchan made his name as the "angry young man" of Hindi cinema. He starred in more than 150 films including the 1970s hits "Sholay" (Embers), "Deewaar" (The Wall) and "Don". (AFP)
