Baby saved after head caught in stair railing

Civil defence men spent nearly an hour dismantling stairs railing at a house in Saudi Arabia to save a two-year-old girl whose head was caught between the iron bars.

The girl’s parents phoned the civil defence after they tried in vain to pull the girl out of the railings at their house in the southern town of Khamis Mushait.

“Civil defence man dismantled some iron bars in the railings and succeeded in pulling the girl’s head out safely,” Sada newspaper said.
