Dense fog hits morning traffic

Dense fog early today morning caught drivers unawares and slowed traffic down.

While inclement weather has been the order of the day in the UAE this past month, clear skies over the last few days suggested that summer was finally here and the dusty, stormy, foggy days were gone.

Sheikh Zayed Road, however, saw drivers slowing down considerably as fog clouded their vision.

Visibility was reduced to a few metres, but having been warned several times in the recent past about driving carefully, most motorists were seen taking the necessary precautions.
