2 die after falling into sewage pit in RAK

Two Asians have died after falling into a sewage pit in Ras Al Khaimah on Monday.

Colonel Ahmed Abdel-Rahman  Al Bagham  of RAK Police said the hole was 3.4 metres deep.

Ambulance and rescue teams found the two people inside the sewer pipe. Paramedics tried to revive the two with a ventilator but failed.

The bodies were taken to the Forensic Medicine Department to prepare a death report and complete other formalities.
