300,000 to benefit from KZHF Ramadan Ration

The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Humanitarian Foundation (KZHF) has launched the "Ramadan Ration" project for the year 2011.

Around 300,000 people from 45000 families will benefit from the project implemented each year before the holy month of Ramadan, KZHF announced.

The announcement of the project was made during a press conference held here at KZHF headquarters.

Twelve different types of food will be distributed among beneficiary families in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Affairs through twenty three centers nationwide.

Mohammed Haji Khouri, KZHF Director General in his remarks at the press conference hailed the role of the corporate sponsors for the Ration Project including Ministry of Social Affairs, Abu Dhabi Co-operative Society, National Bank of Abu Dhabi and Al Foah Company.
