Abu Dhabi Police’s air ambulances took to the air in two urgent rescue operations recently.
Abu Dhabi Police said their operations room had received two urgent calls.
In the first case, a critically ill elderly Emirati had collapsed. An air ambulance transported him, first to a hospital in Dalma in the Western Region and then to a hospital in Sheikh Khalifa Medical City in Abu Dhabi for further treatment.
In the second case, a young Emirati had been seriously injured in a road accident in Oman and was airlifted by Abu Dhabi Police’s air ambulance to a hospital in Al Ain.
