Monday morning commuters reported of slow moving traffic following an accident.
Dubai Police reported an accident at 8.15am through their official Twitter handle. “An accident on Sheikh Rashid Road in Garhoud Tunnel toward Garhoud Bridge, kindly take caution,” the tweet read.

An Emirates24|7 reader reported an overturned truck just before the tunnel on Sheikh Rashid Road. At 9.15am, the tailbacks were still being reported on Al Ittihad Road, beyond Sharjah’s Safeer Mall.

In another tweet, the police also advised commuters to slow down near school zones, especially closer to school bus stops and student transportation areas.
