Al Mamzar chalets renovated ahead of winter

The General Maintenance Department at Dubai Municipality has started renovating the chalets in Al Mamzar Park in preparation for the winter season, which will witness high demand for them.

Juma Khalifa Al Fuqae, Director of General Maintenance Department, said the project includes the renovation and development of all technical systems in these chalets such as water, sanitation and completing all electrical and air conditioning work.
 
"In addition to this, complete renovation of the plaster and ceramics is also being carried out according to the architectural designs of the chalets.  All kitchen cabinets and accessories are also being replaced along with the installation of necessary wooden panels to ensure the convenience of the visitors," he said
 
Al Fuqae said the work also includes renovating the grilling basins provided for each chalet, and maintenance of external tile roof as well as interior and exterior painting work.

He said the total cost of the project about is Dh400,000, and work has been completed in a number of these chalets and delivered them to the Public Parks and Horticulture Department.
