Bidding for UAE number plate R8 starts at Dh525,000

Five bids have been received for Fujairah car plate number R8, with the minimum bid value set at Dh525,000, according to Emirates Auction website update on August 15, at 8.20 am.

The minimum increment is set at Dh5,000, with the auction taking place on August 20.

The second costliest number plate is R22. It has received 10 bids with the bidding commencing at Dh160,000. The minimum increment is set at Dh1,000.

The third costliest is R20 number plate which has received three bids, with bidding starting Dh140,000. The minimum increase is Dh1,000.

In June 2016, car plate number ‘1’ in Sharjah was sold for Dh18 million to Arif Al Zarouni with the bidding price set at Dh1 million.

Separately, Etisalat’s number 054-3777777 is listed for a price of Dh80,000, with two bids already received. The minimum increase is Dh500 with the auction taking place on August 19.

Number 056-8333333 is listed for Dh70,500 with the eight bids received. Minimum increment amount is Dh500, while the third costliest mobile number is 056-4444449. Bidding starts at Dh51,000 with four bids already been received at 8.20 am on August 15.

In March 2014, mobile phone number 050-777-7777 was auctioned off for Dh7.877777 million with bidding starting at Dh437,000.
