Driving to Abu Dhabi? 2 lanes in Qasr Al Bahr Tunnel closed every weekend

Abu Dhabi Traffic Police will close two lanes in both directions inside the Qasr Al Bahr tunnel on Sheikh Zayed Road in Abu Dhabi.

The closure will take place on Friday and Saturday of every week for the coming two months. The lanes are being closed for engineering works in the tunnel.

Abu Dhabi Police’s Traffic and Patrols Directorate stated that the closures will start on the mentioned days of every week from midnight on Friday until 4am on Saturday.

The directorate called on motorists who use the Qasr Al Bahr tunnel to exercise caution and reduce  speed to ensure safety of all road users.

The directorate urged motorists to pay attention while driving and cooperate to ensure smooth flow of traffic.
