The Roads and Transport Authority of Dubai has reiterated the temporary closures of the Airport Tunnel this summer, with maintenance work continuing until year-end on select dates, affecting both sides of the tunnel that lead into the districts of Al Rashidiya and Al Qusais.
In a statement, the RTA further explained: “Due to the maintenance works that are being carried out in Dubai Airport Tunnel, drivers heading to any of the districts Al Rashidiya, Al Qusais are kindly notified of the temporal closure timings, specified during working days.”
The Airport Tunnel will remain closed between 12.30am and 5.30am, with maintenance works put on hold during public holidays, Fridays and Saturdays.
