Dubai Police adds BMW i8 to its fleet of supercars

The stunning BMW i8 is now part of the Dubai Police patrol fleet.

The car was unveiled on Wednesday and Major General Khamis Mattar Balmazina, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police said at the event that Dubai Police Force has always sought, through the introduction its fleet of supercars, to enhance the security of the emirate.

The event was also attended by Major-General Abdul Rahman Mohammad Rafi, Assistant Adjutant General of Dubai Police for Quality and Excellence, Brigadier General pilot Lance Matrooshi, Directorate General Transport Manager and Rescue, in addition to a number of police officials.

Earlier this week, sporting the colours of Abu Dhabi Police, the Rolls Royce Phantom debuted as the latest addition to the fleet of UAE police supercars. (Read: Phantom 'Rolls' in to Abu Dhabi Police fleet
