Dubai resident donates 50 cycles to municipality workers

A UAE resident has donated 50 bicycles for Dubai Municipality workers.

The British woman, who wished to remain anonymous, said the gesture was her way of showing appreciation for the hard work these workers put in to maintain the beauty of the city.

Providing them transportation, according to her, was the best way to applaud their efforts.

Khalid Abdulraheem, Director of Human Resources  department, added, “This comes as a recognition from the members of society towards Dubai Municipality workers for their services to keep best among other global cities. They are the unsung soldiers behind the success of this big city and they do reserve our recognition.”
