Emarat denies closure of any of its fuel stations

Emirates General Petroleum Corporation 'Emarat', has denied reports by some local media on closure of some of its service stations in Dubai and the Northern emirates for running out of fuel.

It asserted that lack of partial supply of fuel for some stations was due to the technical problems in the logistics supplies of gasoline product in the major reservoirs.

The corporation has clarified that the maintenance problem was resolved today, and the situation will return to normal in all service stations with effect from Friday.
